very candid views of a lover of good life, very impulsive and someone who lives on his gut feelings. He absolutely hates any sort of authority or structure and loves his freedom. I am not sure a lot of us can actually do what he has done which makes this novel an absolute masterpiece. I took away one star due to too much vulgarity and his crass treatment of women. He did make me smile every two pages of the short novel which has to be a great literary achievement.
